Operating under a general licence anyone can come in and have a drink and a meal. Operating under “House Rules” there are no hats, tidy dress applies as this is a sign of respect to those that have and are serving.

Diggers Tavern hours: Tuesday to Sunday 11am till late.
Spitfire Restaurant hours: Tuesday to Sunday 12pm-2pm and 5pm-8pm.
Slices and scones plus coffee and tea and a bar snack menu is available all day.

"Went to Diggers tonight for tea with the family and what an amazing experience! The meals were decent size and reasonably priced. I ask for my steak cooked blue and it was cooked to perfection. Kids meals were good sized and the kids desserts were fun as they got to decorate their icecream themselves! Lovely friendly waitresses and the whole meal with drinks for 4 people was just over $100. We will definitely be back! What an asset to Mosgiel!!"
