McArthurs Berry Farm is now under the new ownership of Ken and Alex and will continue to trade this season selling its fresh fruit and vegetables and during the summer its very popular real fruit ice creams.
They will also be stocking delicious stone fruit from Central Otago including plums, apricots, nectarines and peaches.
“We have continued to stock local and regional products such as honey, free range eggs, fresh vegetables, lavender items, hazelnuts and relishes, sauces and chutneys, and have enjoyed building relationships with our existing suppliers,” said Alex.
She said they bought the business because “it seemed like an exciting venture to be involved with and quite iconic within the region along with the potential to develop further.”
McArthurs Berry Farm name will remain open for now seven days a week from 9am to 5pm. “We will reduce these hours as the season tapers off and any changes to our trading hours will be posted on our website and Facebook page."
