Unisex hairstylists Salon Carissa is a household name in Mosgiel and is open Monday to Friday with late night Tuesday and Thursday and Saturday by appointment.

Owner Tracey Cookson bought the Factory Rd salon five years ago and is continuing a trend of friendly and professional service. The salon marked its 50th anniversary in 2020 and the signature black and white chequered floor is due for a new makeover soon.
