With 13 years local surveying experience, Scott Cookson officially launched Cookson Land Surveying in March 2020 to provide fast, efficient and reliable Land Surveying, Resource Management and Land Development Engineering service for customers throughout Otago and Southland.

Scott is highly experienced in all aspects of Cadastral Surveying; whether it be a simple boundary marking, two or three lot subdivision, or a large scale development.

Scott has previously worked closely on a 250+ lot development, undertaking concept development, full roading and services design including stormwater management and undertaking the Land Transfer Survey including complex easement arrangements for all stages of the development.

In addition to his vast skills in Cadastral Surveying, Scott’s attention to detail enables him to produce highly detailed site topographical plans for all sized projects. Scott has over 10 years experience in designing and implementing deformation surveys of both land movement and structure movement, undertaking these surveys for a local large scale hydro scheme.
